I love the Modern Crew neck Tee. I have several in both long sleeve and short sleeve. They fit perfectly, have just the right amount of stretch, and are smooth and sleek. They look great with jeans, sweat pants, and are polished enough to wear to work with pants or a skirt. I just wish that they came in more colors.
It's warm, snug and great for layering!

This is a great crewneck longsleeve shirt. Bought regular length in large and also a xl in regular length, great fit without showing skin.

Only 58% cotton. The indigo color is shiny and feels synthetic. Returning asap.

Thick & soft, with slight stretch in the fabric , breathable neck line, good length in the sleeves. I often get medium but took a large so I can put through a dryer and it still fits fully to wrists and down to the pubic bone.I am 5'7"

Love this top! I wish they had more colors, I bought two blue and one black. They are so well made and stretch in all the right places. I wear them as undershirts when I need to layer. I am 5' 3" and wear XS, but a S would fit fine too.

Too long but soft material
I liked the crewneck (tired of all these boatnecks or v-necks that stretch and end up too revealing), and I liked the thickness of the fabric. I got back and navy. Usually, I like navy, but this navy fabric is odd: it has this visible sheen. Black has it too, but due to black colour the sheet isn't noticeable (at least to me). but the navy, being lighter in tone than black, has this sheen, and I don't think I like it. There is something cheap about such sheen, and it doesn't look like cotton fabric. I'll think about it, but I have a feeling I am going to return it. Why sheen? Why not make it matte?
I love these tees, they are made so well. I especially like that they're not so thin and cheaply made. The only reason I'm giving four stars is because I received the wrong color. Since I like these so much, I'm keeping all the ones I ordered even if I received two of the same color.
The crew neck us one of my go to's when I order from the Gap. I have several colors. This t-shirt is a must have as far as essentials go. It's soft, comfy and made really well and I put each one I have to the test in my daily life. So far so good. Definitely a must for every wardrobe.

I've never seen a cotton modal blend like this. The fabric reminds me of polyester high school basketball uniforms. I was hoping for a light, breathable cotton blend. This is unwearable.
Hands down the best t-shirt I have ever bought from the Gap. Great fit, very comfortable, soft fabric and sturdy construction, not flimsy and thin. I would have bought more if they hadn't sold out. I bought gray, navy and black in both short and long sleeve. I only wish they had more colors! Please restock!!!

Love these shirts. I have just about every color in crew neck and v-neck. The fit is perfect. I am 5'2" 110 pounds and wear XS.
Ordered a tall, large. At 6 feet tall, it fits beautifully.
I made the mistake of getting the tall version of this tee, as I prefer shirts to be a bit longer. In this case it was too long (mid thigh) and the sleeves were about 3" too long, so I returned it. I did like the style and the color, so will order the regular size.
Love the material and fit but prefer the boatneck
I would have also purchased in the dark blue and white if my size had been available.
this T-shirt was a nice heavy material and fit true to size I just found the neck too small and not flattering
Love these Modern T-shirts...long sleeve and short sleeve versions. The fabric is substantial not cheaply thin...will last a long time. Also, not all cotton which is great because they will hold their shape and color retention having the added small amount of spandex. They wash up nicely and flatter the body...fit is true to size.
The material is so soft and the for is super comfy
I literally have one of these for every day of the week. I'm not exaggerating when I say this shirt is truly the only thing that I wear!
I returned a small size because the sleeves were too long. A petite would probably have fit but the fabric was much heavier than I was looking for.
I ordered 2 colors, off white and gray. I like the weight of both shirts and after I wash them I know I won't have to iron them which is a plus. I also loved the price I got for both of these timeless t-shirts.

I don't know what kind of fabric it is. It is kind of shiny and rather thick. I was expecting a regular tee.

Ive been wearing these for years. probably have 15 of these shirts. I bought the latest to replace some old ones. They're very comfortable and being tall I love the tall length. They are a great staple for anyone's wardrobe.
I love these t-shirts and just stocked up on another half dozen. I am tall with long arms and they fit beautifully, I wear them alone or as a layering piece.

I love the quality of Gap clothing. This top looks great with office pants and is quite dressy. For me, the tall size has the long waist which is very stylish over fitted pants, leggings or skirts. I'll be ordering more of this one!
Love their modern crewneck, modern boatneck shirts. They fit true to size and last for years. The fabric has a nice weight for winter but isn't too thick for spring or fall either.
Soft quality material! A must-have essential!
Ordered three of the long sleeve modern fit tees. I have a couple of short sleeved ones in large and they show every single roll on me so I sized up to an extra large thinking it would just be a looser fit. The shirts I got were so massive, they come down to the middle of my thighs. The sleeves come to the middle of my hand. Ordered sweatpants too and they come up to my armpits. Couple of years ago I ordered a sweatshirt in large and it was so tight that I ended up giving it to my daughter. Based on that, I ordered sweatshirts recently and sized up using the measurements on their charts and they are so huge that I could make two shirts out of them. The closest Gap store is nearly an hour away from me so it's a real pain to do returns and I see now the size large are sold out. Seems I need to stop shopping at the Gap.
XL was on sale and I wanted something a little looser fitting than my normal size L in these. Great choice. More give but not too big.

super soft long sleeve t-shirt! the black is perfect - not see through and on the thicker side. I bought this shirt because I thrifted the short sleeve version and loved it. the short sleeve one is in amazing condition - no pilling or signs of wear - so I have a feeling this will hold up well. I am usually a S but got XS for a tighter fit. still super comfy. great for casual wear or work with a blazer.

I absolutely love the Modern Tees. They're very flattering, fabric is great, and the price is right. My only complaint is the lack of interesting colors. Wish they'd have more. Tired of just black, navy, and grey.
I don't like the way the fabric feels. I'll wash the T a few times before I wear it.
Other brands of T-shirts do not compare! I love just the way that they feel. l wear them with jeans, under a jacket or even with a skirt I love gap crewneck tees and I wear them with almost everything.

I've ordered navy blue twice now and each time I receive white instead. I give up since they won't fix the labeling and verify it the color ordered it what's in the bag. Sizing is true to size. An xxs is a nice snug form fitting size.

It's soft, it hugs you, and it's a staple in my wardrobe. Layer it under a tweed jacket with jeans, under a cashmere sweater or it simply stands alone with a nice necklace and jeans. I love this tee!!
The material is very good
I love long sleeve T's. I live in them. But most importantly always beed to update my wardrobe with a new black T every season. Can't afford not to. Everyone this is the softest T in my closet.
Comfortable fabric
It's a thicker fabric than I anticipated, and I really like it. It feels well-made and of good quality. I probably could have sized down one size, but even still I wouldn't call it oversized or "running big". Standard, but nice. Exactly what I needed.

They are soft and have a perfect weight to them. I love them so much that I literally purchased 14 of them. (Navy, white, grey and black) they are ideal under sweaters, with a short sleeve shirt over top or alone. It's a 3 season shirt.
Got a size small (sized down one) for a more fitted look and turned out great!

I like the cotton modal blend. However, either it is meant to be super tight, or this shirt runs really small. I usually wear an XS. I sized up to a small when I bought this t-shirt online, and it was still too small. The small is 14.5 inches across the chest. I returned the small for a medium, and it fits fine.
This is actually my second of these shirts, I loved the first one so much that I ordered a second. The fabric is extra soft, and even though I have a belly and they're fitted they do not emphasize my tummy. For reference I got an S, regular. I'm 5'3" weigh 145 lbs and my chest is 40", 34DD

Sized up one so the shirt would be fitted, but not skintight. Took a star off because the grey color wasn't good looking in person and the price tag was pierced through the bottom so I couldn't even try it on. But one feel of the fabric had me returning to the site to order the shirt in black. Will be returning the grey one. Would have ordered a black one for my mom had her size been in stock. Recommend.
This is a staple in my wardrobe. The fabric is soft, the fit is slightly shaped in the waist and overall a great basic tee. My size is usually a S in most Gap items but I order a Medium Petite as I don't want it to fit too snug. For reference, I'm 5'2" tall, 124#'s.
I have many perfect tees now that GAP quit making their original vintage tees. These are thick, hold their shape, and last for years, unlike the new organic tees that I've thrown out after six weeks cause they look like you slept in them, and they shrink two sizes. Thanks for the perfect tees GAP! Please don't change these too.
Make them in Jordan again. I love these shirts but they are not the same. The tall is too short. Seems also to be the gray heather that is much shorter. I wish you'd make the cream heather again and navy heather would be great too. Make them longer, like they used to be!
As a tall person, it's hard to find long-sleeved shirts that have long enough arms that don't bunch up under sweater sleeves. This one has really long arms and the body is long enough to comfortably tuck in or hang out under sweaters. I buy some every season!
I thought it was a lightweight cotton shirt. It's tight and synthetic material. I have to return it.

Ok, Gap. We were BFFs in the 90s but then things got weird between us and we were on a very long break. This Christmas, I was feeling nostalgic, and there you were, wooing me from a distance with this long-sleeved camiseta, and I've got a say, it fits like a glove. It's perfect. Love that the fabric has some heft, yet it's soft with the perfect amount of stretch thanks to the cotton, modal, and spandex blend. The crew neck hits just right as does the hip length. It is a flattering fit - slim but not snug- even I've put on a few pounds since we've been together last. The discount made me buy one in each color. Keep making this shirt and selling it at a good price point and I'll be back again and again. #sweepstakes

I highly recommend this! I now own 3 of these long-sleeved t-shirts and love them. They are a substantial weight (nothing shows through), keep their shape and fit beautifully. I will say that the sleeves seem to run long—I'm 5'11, 130 lbs. and normally wear tall everything, but the regular large is great for me.

I have many of these shirts. They are the best. I love how they fit, feel, and wash.
I'm 5'6 with a longer torso and this shirt practically covered my backside. All the extra fabric makes it bunch up, and tucking it into pants is impossible.

The actual perfect long-sleeve thick(er) tee. It's not sheer and keeps me warm for CA winters. It's the "actual" perfect long-sleeve shirt. I am also 5ft and 105lbs so the petite xs was *chef's kiss*. Absolutely get this shirt, also great for layering, because it sits well under sweaters and other items, stand alone well too, but wears and washes beautifully.

I buy these shirts every year. The first year they were perfect. The second year they were shorter. The third year they were like a regular shirt. I don't know if they've added more Spandx but I know they are much shorter than they used to be. Could you bring back the tall that's really for a tall person. Good grief I am only 5'8! Is another couple of inches on the bottom to much to ask?

Gap modern longsleeve t-shirts have long been a staple. I adore them and stock up each year. However, this year they were not offered in scoopneck. I have tried to make crew and v-neck work…and I still love the fabric, fit and price of these shirts. They're fine…but, it's just not the same when you change the neckline. I really hope they consider bringing scoopneck back!

I wear a small and the small fit perfect. The fabric made me question if it was an Athleta shirt! I had a combo in my order. It was high quality. Such a simple top but it makes me feel dressed up at time. Love it!
