Fit, color, and design are very flattering.
This latest Metal Vent SS Shirt Edition fits slim like the 2.0. Not sure why they had to redesign and also change the fabric. It was perfect before. Unfortunately, I had to return this shirt.
Given this one a lot of time and I may just throw it away. The fitting is off, runs small. The material doesn’t hold up. As others have stated, it is VERY unflattering. I am embarrassed to wear it during workouts and even casually at home. This shirt offers zero coverage in the nipple area. Wish I could’ve spent the money on a better shirt

I have an older lulu workout shirt that I love and still wear. I bought two of these and have been very disappointed with them. They look good, but both of them started stinking about 2.5 - 3 months after purchase. I always wash my gym clothes immediately after a workout, so it's pretty sad that I get better life out of my Amazon workout shirts that are $10-$15.
Favorite workout shirt! This is the most comfortable and best workout shirt on the market.
Metal Vent 2.0 is my preferred shirt. I’m 6’3, 205 and buy XL. this has space in all the right spaces. It’s a great workout shirt and have stayed durable through the years. I own several colors.
Good quality casual or gym shirt. As expected from lulu vent tech.
Never thought I’d wear a Lulu shirt but was given this as a gift. I now have several. Super lightweight and comfortable material.
Feels warmer and smaller than previous versions of this shirt that I’ve purchased. I’m noticing a terrible trend with Lululemon - clothing that is “updated” in ways that negatively impact the product and fits that tend to be smaller than previous iterations. Were the previous large sizes simply mislabeled? This L is quite different…and yes, I’m the same size.

Was a bit hesitant to try the 2.0 version (on sale) after reading several negative comments on here, but gave it a try nonetheless. Am glad I did. Fits and looks great. Ended up buying a handful other colors as well.

Have purchased so many shirts (metal vent tech particularly) and I am not happy with these newer version because of the fitting - way smaller than previous versions. The sleeves are shorter by at least an inch.
The sizing is small, and it does not look flattering on me.
Writing this for my husband but these are his favorite workout tops that lululemon offers. He has these in many colors of the years and they always last really well. He wears these around the house, hiking, backpacking, or every day workouts. He’s a true XL and the XL runs TTS but some colors we notice are a smidge tighter. Will continue to buy more
Bought for BF but only shirt I wear for workouts mens version of swiftly tech for women love them
Shirt came with multiple holes in it. I have reached out to support and it’s been over a week and a half and no response. Very awful experience this go around.

Moves well with you. I usually wear sleeveless to work out in. This shirt feels like nothing there to restrict shoulders in workout when sweating. Will by more.

Good material - light and soft. But it’s a bit over priced for what it is.

Very comfortable shirt. Makes a great over layer for cold weather or prime layer for regular weather.

I bought an XXL to wear at the gym and the length was good, but it was narrow and tight. Would recommend trying on in person. Material was great and if it fit better it would have been a great training shirt
This is the second one of these Metal Vent Tech SS shirts I have bought and it's as good as the first!
Material feels fine, fit is way off. I purposely sized up like I usually do and it's still very small. Would advise trying on in person if possible. The original metal vent tech shirts were perfect, this is a far cry from it

A fantastic t-shirt for anything active if you typically sweat lots. I have bought three for my husband now and they're his favourite.
I got this for a Christmas gift for my dad who loves to run. He already has this shirt in a few different colors and asks for more for each holiday. Great, stylish workout shirts!

This is a great shirt, especially if you are athletically built and have a muscular back, chest and arms. The shirt stretches nicely and hugs the muscle groups well. Very breathable and light weight.

Comfortable and fits true to sizing. Great to wear weather you are working out or as a everyday shirt.
I couldn't be happier with this shirt. It is super comfy, and moisture wicking. I wear it in hot yoga regularly and feel great.
Great short, however, it was not delivered within the time frame expected. So, it never made it into my luggage to accompany me to the Caribbean. I will update after my February trip.
Shirts are great but they snag easily
Ordered two Metal Vent Tech 2.0 shirts. One fits great and the other is way too large. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with the shirt because I purchased it at a reduced cost. I love Lulu clothing, but something has changed when it comes to sizing. Large shirts fit like a 2XL

Comfortable and stylish. Loved it so much I bought the same shirt in a different colour.
Far superior to the new version in fit, material, style. New version is too tight in the chest and neck and too loose in the arms, and has a thicker but less comfortable material. The 2.0 is perfection. Bring it back please!

I have several of the metal vent shirt. It’s pretty much my only shirt for sports or anything where I’m going to sweat. This particular shirt is much thinner than all my others. I think it will last half the time at most. They all eventually break down but it normally takes a few years.
Very nice material that stretches with your body. I love the texture. Definitely recommend this shirt.

I ordered two medium size Metal Vent Tech Short-Sleeve Shirts 2.0. The neck hole on one of them (blue) is annoyingly quite a bit larger especially when compared to my older Metal Vent shirts. I would not have ordered it had I known of this change.

Cheap compared to the old stuff
some of my metal vent t-shirts are over 10 years old and after years of wear and wash abuse it perform better than brand new one; same cut and fit, ut different material ... again not nearly as nice as older versions
True to size and very light and comfortable
Not happy with this item at all. I bought it for my partner, and it is way too small. Their sizing for this item was a complete miss. I haven't bothered asking to exchange or return due to their return policy being VERY strict on sale items. Thus, I'm stuck with an item that is unwearable.
The shirt matches the description, and my partner, who owns the same one, highly praises it. However, when I bought it as a birthday gift for my brother, it arrived with a sensor tag. Lulu should ensure product quality before shipping to avoid inconveniencing customers who then have to visit the store just to remove the tag. It defeats the whole purpose of shopping online.
Just a good quality workout shirt that doesn’t retain gym smell.
The Metal Vent Tech 2.0 is the best exercise shirt: -Good fit -Allows for great mobility -Lightweight -Extreme breathable and fast drying -Great quality that lasts for many many years, even with regular use Note: The fit of the Metal Vent Tech 2.0 is VERY different from the Metal Vent Tech. I have been using Lululemon products for over 10 years and the Metal Vent Tech 2.0 is by far one of their best offerings.
Comfortable soft light good material goes with a lot

My favourite workout top, waist length goes well with high rise leggings. I size up because I like a loose fit.
Size runs large and tag came off first use
I really like the shirt. Fits great, looks great. The neck tag is very annoying and impossible to remove. I wish they would just ditch the tag.

I finally decided to try this shirt despite all the bad reviews and I’m glad I did. This shirt fits perfectly. It’s very comfortable and looks great. After wearing it to the gym I went home and ordered 2 more. I’m 6’3 215lbs athletic build

Still like the shirt, but it doesn’t seem to be made the same as their old vented t-shirts. The material feels super thin (you can see thru it when you hold it up to a light) and I’m concerned about the longevity washing. It almost feels cheap… time will tell, but something has definitely changed from a few years ago.

Seems to have weird fit ordered both xl an xxl neither is quite right.
All my LuLu shirts are Metal Vent. I always purchase small. Unfortunately this one fit a bit too small

Excellent shirt. My husband uses for cross fit and he sweats so much you can ring his clothes out after his workouts. This one is best for wicking sweat and then durability through washing and not smelling.
I love this shirt so much. I loved the texture and the fact that is had air ventilation and great for working out! It runs a bit tight at first and then it eventually stretches out after a few washes and wearing it. I would definitely recommend it!
Husband hasn’t least 5 MetalVent Techs now and wears them most of time
My husband loves these shirts for working out. I ordered him the coral orange one and it came. It is fluorescent bright orange like the vests crossing guards use. It's for his birthday so I'm not sure if he will wear it or not. He hasn't opened it yet. Very deceiving photo on the website. There is no coral to be seen on the shirt. It's so shockingly bright orange!

Collar was too large, fit was too tight. I don’t think a medium or large would’ve fit right either.

I haven’t a lululemon shirt not snag, this one gets an extra star because it lasted at least 4-5 washes before snagging, but with how much money you pay, you would think the product would last longer than a couple of months.

Very nice colour and pattern. Like the fabric weight - seems a little heavier than other metal vent tech tees I’ve purchased recently. The weight is similar to ones I purchased 10+ years ago which was a welcome surprise.

For the price you pay for this t-shirt you would think the quality control would be better. I bought 2 of them at the same time. They were the same Metal Vent Tech. One was made in Sri-lanka and the other in another country (Cambodia maybe?). Although they were both the same type shirt and the same size (Lg), they were two different sizes. The Sri-lanka one was a bit smaller in width and length (fit me better). The other one was wider and longer. LuluLEMON has to get their QC together between factories. Start-ups usually run into this QC problem, but as established as Lululemon is, they should be past this. If you are in-store, try each shirt on. If you are buying on-line, don't expect it to fit correctly. I bought mine on line and sized it to another Lululemon vented dry-fit t-shirt I had, which fit fine.
Lulu is my favorite store and these shirts have gotten my boyfriend to love Lulu too! He loves how comfy and sweat wicking they are. True to size!

I bought this t-shirt in 3 different colours, and all of them are top tier. Looks great, shows off the best parts of my physique, and very comfy. I also like that it's a little longer so I don't show any skin while doing pull-ups etc.

Great item if it was consistent in sizing. I have I’ve purchased 5!! 2 fit awesome, 3 don’t! The sizing is not the same based on the colors you get, I’m disappointed as I’ve spent good money on Lulu. Why the size difference?
Wish this product came in a “tall” version as I am 6’4. I have to order an XXL for the length but don’t need the width.

First time purchasing metal vent tech. Owned a lot of dry sense t shirts but decided to give this product a try. The fit and feel actually caught me off guard. Metal vent was very breathable and comfortable. Will definitely recommend.

Metal vent shirts used to be a higher, thicker quality. Now the shirts are super thin like those disposable blue kitchen rags. What happened??
Good cut, great fabric but poor sizing. The Medium size was very tight at the shoulders with a good length whereas the Large was very big. THe jump between the two sizes is unusual.

The neck fits way too loose and the sleeves are too tight. It’s a very awkward looking shirt if you’re in between sizes. Large is too small and XL is too baggy. Neck holes are always too baggy looking.

I bought two of these shirts for my husband. The weight and fit are great. We both love the fabric, it is dry fit but still feels comfortable. We would recommend and purchase again. The cut was flattering too.
I purchased this shirt and it felt great until I tried it on. When I did it ran a little small, and was more form fitting on me than on the model. Sadly the closest store is over an hour away so I won’t be able to return it anytime soon.
I purchased a few of these to workout in, have to say I now have a slight addiction. Perfect shirt for lifting heavy in the gym, or going for a run. The shirt is so light and breathable it practically feels like you’re shirtless.

I prefer the way the dry sense shirts fit. This runs a little too small for my liking.
I’m a 0/2/4 girl and i usually prefer smaller sizes but when i lift i like to have a nice pump cover so i grab larger men’s sizes (in this case m). i love how this shirt holds up and how lightweight it feels in the gym. one of my all time favs!
My bf is tall and skinny and usually has issues finding good tops that fit him in the length and form. This top is not only long enough for him, but very slenderizing as well.

I went to the mall and really enjoyed the metal vent tech 2.0 shirt look, feel, and size. I came home and ordered multiple of them in the same size (Medium) and they are noticably tighter. I'm not sure why this inconsistency but I've seen others mention it as well. Bummed out as they were on the WMTM section as well.
Fits a tight on the arms and shoulders giving it a great look if you’re muscular.

Too long for a 6 foot boy
Purchased 5 total. I want to love them - they're soft, comfortable, and vent well, but... Docked 1st star due to some inconsistency in the fit between the 5 shirts (particularly sleeve length/tightness). Docked 2nd star for the smell issues that have been noted in other reviews. 3/5 of my shirts already have a weird odor that doesn't wash out. Would have docked more due to the smell, but it seems to depend on the person - my wife has MV gear without issue. MV gear might just not be for me, sadly
