I use this top for work, hiking and running. I originally ordered a medium but was to form fitting to be comfortable for me. Ended up ordering XL and is very comfortable. Light weight and provides protection from the sun.

I like the colour and fit. I bought it to wear in the sun to cover up but it really shows sweat which for casual wear wasnt what I was looking for. Its nice, but I will use it as a layer in cooler weather rather than a sun cover up for playground/ hiking with the kids.

Very comfortable - can us as stand alone or layered under scrubs. Breaths well in warm weather. Great color -- which it came in more colors. Would buy again.

I wanted long sleeves for summer sun protection without it being too hot. This fits the bill perfectly. Easy to push up or roll up the sleeves if wanted. Good fit, washes up well. Extremely lightweight.

Absolutely fabulous fabric - soft, silky, featherweight. So easy to pull on and off over workout togs.

I have vitiligo and must be mindful of the suns harmful rays. This shirt makes it possible for me to be outside and protected. I just wish they came in more than two colors.

I used this as a light baselayer hiking 500 miles on the AT this past summer. It is durable and held up well. I used it every night and it gave me the perfect amount of warmth I needed. It feels light, silky, and breathable. I normally wear a size small but it was too big so I ordered an XS

This shirt is the best for what I need it for. It's tissue weight, highly breathable and not see-through. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that my first one snagged the first time I wore it. Patagonia took care of me, of course. So be aware that you shouldn't be brushing up against anything pokey or sharp, like a twig or th

Love this shirt so much I sleep and lounge in it. I wear it a little big for relaxation. Very comfortable in warm and cool weather. Love the fabric and style. Great quality !

I have 6 of these shirts both long sleeve and short. They are great just as is and good for under layering too. Love all the colors

Love this lightweight shirt for the beach. I wear it when I need sun protection in warm weather. Please make this shirt in more light colors!

I was looking for something that gave me coverage but would not make me warm. This top delivers. As a plus, when every ounce counts, this is a SUPER lightweight item.

I love this shirt for walking, hiking, SUPPING. Its so lightweight and breathable!

The shirt is so light and comfortable. I like things a little loose and this is just right. My only problem is that you only have large in the grey, and this is such a great all round shirt, Id like to have it in several colors.

This is my favorite shirt for my morning beach walks / hikes to protect my skin while still cool. I have given these as gifts and my friends have bought them too! More colors please!

Have not used this yet. The neck shape is really nice and it should be handy for travel and warmth once Covid lifts. Material is thin and see through if the top is snug. Would buy a larger size next time.

This shirt is amazing for me! I love how breathable it is! It will also be a perfect baselayer for the winter.

Early on During pandemic I walked early in the morning, starting out before sunrise. I wanted a lightweight, fluid shirt to protect from breezy conditions into sun cover, this shirt does both. Now, I am back to the elliptical - outside; the shirt works for heavy sweat workouts in the machine. I prefer a loose, easy-to-take-off top, so the XL.

This is my second Capilene long sleeved shirt. I wear it for yoga and exercise classes mostly. The fit is very good and does not cling, making it slimming. I do not get too hot in it. I thought the color blue would be as the picture above, but it was a plain medium blue, not the sky/aqua blue shown above. Color is OK but not as lively. It doesn&#x2

I love this style shirt for hiking over a tank top. The material is cool and it protects me from too much sun exposure.

I love these jerseys. they are the perfect weight for No. Cal. I hike and bike a lot and love these for both.

Love the fit and function of this shirt. It's great for layering or just on it's own. It's lightweight, but surprisingly warm. Would buy it again!

I live in this top on summer weekends in the sun. It may not have the SPF rating like some other Patagonia tops but Im fair skinned and dont have to wear any sunscreen underneath. I wear this anytime its so hot Id like to be in a tank but need the long sleeved protection.

I have every color from last year's selection. I see only one new blue color. Can we get some new colors please!!!!!

I wear a small in the other daily capilene shirts but this one felt too snug so I moved up a size.

Patagonia I have all colors above, when are you coming out with more colors in long sleeve? Catalan coral is nice but not offered in long sleeve?

Both the long sleeve and short sleeve versions of the capilene cool lightweight tee are the best running shirts. They are so lightweight and feel amazing next to skin. You dont get super stinky when you wear them either! I am an average sized women (size 10 pants, 38C) and usually wear size medium or large in Patagonia. The fit of this shirt is per

First of all, this shirt was a gift for my wife (though I wear similar), who always feels cold when I am not because the ceiling fans are going all year. I thought a lightweight Capilene shirt could be used both outside (SPF50) and inside, and it would be comfortable at all times. It has been, and continues to be, her go-to shirt since it was gifte

I have 4 of these shirts now! They fit true to size & are a flattering trim fit. I like to wear these over a tank top on chilly morning hikes & as a lightweight layer under a jacket. They wash well & pack light. I have taken this shirt on a 9 day backpacking trip around Mt Rainier & in the Tetons! Will keep buying!

Thin, soft and warm! This is a go-to shirt for me year round when it's cool - so I own a couple. Love it!

This shirt is perfect for hiking. It's soft, comfortable, and works in cold or warm weather. It's nice to have a long sleeved shirt as a base layer for cold weather hikes, but as the day warms, you don't want to be overheated. This shirt is perfect for all temperatures. I plan to take it traveling because it's so versatile, look

This flattering long sleeve top is extremely light and cool for workouts that heat up. I bought the charcoal color and can see wearing it when lunching with friends. It washes and dries fast. Very pleased.

This is my favorite Patagonia shirt. It is very light and the colors are nice too. I also have the tank version. I hope Patagonia does not discontinue this Capilene Cool lightweight shirt

This shirt is so light and somewhat sheer that I doubted how warm it would keep me, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's lighter weight than other capilene shirts I own but it's still warm and it's a very flattering cut! I will definitely be buying more in other colors. It'll be a winter/spring go to for me.

It is very comfortable and light weight. That makes it more versatile for layering. My complaint is that there are no loops at the wrist to keep sleeves in place when putting on second layer.

I use the short sleeve version all summer long but when the temp drops in fall its great to have the long sleeve version. Best work out shirt I own!

I adore this lighweight shirt for running and hiking. It feels so good against your skin, is light and very sweatwicking. I have a version of this shirt from a season or two back and it has a regular style neckline (not a scoop neck) and I prefer that. The scoop neck on this newer style is odd make the shirt look odd to me, so I don't want to

Light weight with good UV protection. Being worn in warm climate

This layer is perfect for transition seasons when you need a long sleeve but dont want to be too warm as the sun comes out. I wear it for trail running mostly, and its so lightweight it fits nicely under other layers if needed. Breathes very well! I have the tank tops in the same material and wear them on my runs all summer long.

This long sleeve shirt is light, wicks moisture, and perfect for hiking, even all day long. The most comfortable I have ever owned. I bought 3 more after the first purchase. Please keep this available, and more colors.

I bought this product because I found an older version of it at thrift shop and was obsessed with the super light weight material. This newer version I purchased from Patagonia has a very different style. It is super long and wide at the hips and has a really deep neck line. It reminded me of a fancy yoga shirt you wear to look good, not necessaril

Love this top. I needed a long sleeve shirt that wouldnt be too hot in summer to protect my arms from allergic reactions. Its light as can be, fits well, and is super comfy. Great running and hiking top too.

The shirts (I bought 2 long sleeve and one t-shirt) are so light and breathable they are perfect for biking and hiking in hot, humid weather . The long sleeve shirts provide sun protection. The fit is relaxed, not tight and not too loose with good coverage in the length. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I've reached for this shirt again and again this summer. It's my favorite thing to put on over a tank early in the morning, but light and comfortable enough to run in on a warm, sunny afternoon. Feels like wearing nothing, but keeps the sun off of my arms/shoulders. Love!

I love this shirt, is so soft and comfy. It dries quick and control odor. I have been using non stop this spring to go hiking, to lounge around, and to bike to work.

Love this shirt. It is lightweight and a great shirt for my beach walks, feeling the ocean breezes while protecting my skin. I have tried many brands but this is the best for San Diego - I own five shirts in different colors. This one I bought for my cousin recovering from cancer.

I bought this shirt for sun protection on morning walks in Arizona. It is very lightweight and breathable. The sleeves ride up a bit. It fits, but I might size up next time to get extra length in the sleeves. I did snag it fairly quickly too.

Great shirt to keep the sun off your skin! Arm lengths run a bit short though. Im typically a size small for all Patagonia shirt/jacket fits and this shirt had at least a inch or two shorter in sleeve length in comparison to other long sleeve Patagonia shirts I have I.e. R1 hoodie or their mid weight long sleeve shirts

I layer this shirt over a tank to bike or run on cool days or at the beach for featherweight sun protection. Super cool and lightweight!

Love my Capeline Cool LS, great for sunny or coolerish weather (SoCal style). After decades of too much UV, I cover up but can't stand to be too hot. Bought 4 in colors -- but each Medium was sized very differently: Bright blue was the loosest & sleeves cover my hands (which I love); Aqua fit perfectly; Gray is smaller, more fitted; gray b

I really like these shirts. They are so light it makes them cool. I like long sleeves for sun protection but you can pull them up if its really sweltering. The only negative is that the fabric gets pulls or pills in it very easily. So you have to be careful not to touch Velcro or rub into branches or evergreen trees.

Since I already invested in the Cap Cool Lightweight Tank and Tee, I figured I might as well also purchase the long sleeve shirt - especially after burning my back and shoulders while working on the farm. I have never owned a warm-weather active long sleeve piece -- and I am sure glad I made the investment now. Like the other garments in this line,

Love these tops. I have 3 now. One previously is purple shade. Two newest ones are the Joya blue and pineapple. Later is true yellow but more neon, not necessarily flattering for my Caucasian skin. Keeping all of them. They keep me cool and airy while at work. Also love the neckline on these as it is a little more scoop rather than crew. More color

I love this tee the color and how cool and soft it is. I wish Patagonia would make more color options! A definite must have in California summers!

I pretty much only wore this shirt for a few days straight, as an undershirt. Highly recommend. It's beautiful as it is practical. One of those shirts that has function and style.

I have a bunch of long-sleeved capilene shirts that I use for gardening, & paddling, & everyday use. They keep you cool in humid temps!

I loved my original Patagonia lightweight base layers so much that I was hesitant to replace what I had. They are over 15 years old! I won’t give them up, but am very pleased with the fit and feel of the current version. Besides wearing as typical base layer for outdoor activities, I wear this layer under short sleeved T-shirt’s during the colder m

It’s light weight means I’ll wear it under bulky sweaters in colder weather and as a top with leggings in hotter weather.

I was hesitant to order, as I have lived in the previous silk weight tops that are like T-shirts, and I loved them through and through...but this top will work into my wardrobe. Hoping they will manufacture it in white and in XS soon.

I love this shirt. It fits great, keeps me cool and dry. I've worn it mountain biking twice, and I wore it backpacking last night. My back didn't feel wet and sweaty when I took it off.

This is my 3 purchase of this type of shirt I like and wear them often. However, Wish it was like previously model with raglan sleeves. Also wish Patagonia carried petite sizes as I always have to get my shirts shortened which adds another $10 to the already high price..Never available in local store.

I am so glad I purchased these in the tank, short and long sleeves! It's been perfect for Cali's heat wave. I've used it a dozen times hiking, climbing, running and walking the dog. If you need to have ultra light weight clothing that's breathable this is it! It is longish but I perfer the longer lenght for climbing. I hope next

My size 6 pants were quite large on me, I am a typical size 6 but these were rather large...

This is my second Capilene Cool Lightweight shirt that I have purchased from Patagonia. Being on the mountain exposed to full sun, you need to be protected from the elements. Being that it is summer in Southern California, it is still very warm on the hikes and these light weight long sleeves are perfect for keeping you cool but protected.

I’ve been wearing this shirt hiking in 95F+ weather a bunch of times and love the long sleeves for keeping the sun off. It’s actually cooler than any t-shirt I own and dries super fast. Have bought 4 of them now because they’ve been so awesome in this hot weather!

I love wearing long sleeves even on hot days because I can mop up sweat on my face while I'm running and keep sunscreen out of my eyes (maybe this is weird?). This shirt is my favorite to wear with my nine trails shorts and it feels like I'm wearing nothing. I couldn't help worrying that it would be discontinued or "improved&quo

Love how breathable and lightweight these shirts are. They are perfect for walking at the beach. I own four shirts in different colors - becoming my morning uniform

I really like the light-weight feel to this shirt. I am 5’4” and wear an XS. The sleeve-length is shorter but doesn’t bother me. I like that the shirt feels like you aren’t wearing anything, so lightweight, and the sleeves are designed to not be noticed. It’s a win in my book. I’ve taken it backpacking and worn it around town. Covers the nakedness

I have bought this shirt 3 times when there were brighter colors available. And I have loved them for the weight of the fabric and sun protection. But the sleeves are about 4 inches too short. Wait! Didn't anyone notice this? And when I called customer service recently to see if this has been corrected, I was told that this year's design

I bought these LS shirts to protect me from the Hawaii summer sun while cycling to and from work - a better alternative to smelling like sunscreen all day. I love how cool the material feels on my skin. I bought 3 LS and 2 SS. Wear them hiking, running/walking, and cycling. No regrets. Personally, I feel they could be a bit longer but that's j

LOVE this shirt! I'm 5'5" and size S fits great. Got one in teal and another in smolder blue, and the colors are pretty without being too strong. Wearing them at night at home and evening hiking in the unseasonably cool & rainy Hong Kong spring (~20C/68F) this year, and it works great in both occasions. And it's soooo soft i

The main reason for my review is that the sleeves aren't long enough if you're tall and/or have long arms. Consider trying a men's size to compare the two. I wish the tail had a bit more of a drop but it was as expected if you compare it to the website picture. As far as fit, I expected the fit to be a bit slouchier as in the pictur
